Introduction

Galp's commitment to its interested parties - employees, customers, suppliers, partners, regulators, shareholders and investors - will only be achieved if the entire organization is aligned with the defined strategy and committed to the results to be achieved.

In the current context, characterized by a VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) environment, Galp has to be agile to lead and anticipate change, while following best practices and ensuring the performance of its processes as well as the effectiveness of internal controls.

In line with the current trends of international standardization, which point to the management systems progressive integration, and in accordance with the lessons learned deriving from Galp's reality and experience, a single document - the Integrated Management System Standard (RSIG) – systematizes the minimum requirements to be addressed by Galp, with a view to:
I. Integrate, standardize and ensure consistency in the application of management systems requirements in Galp;
II. Eliminate redundancies and minimize omissions;
III. Integrate new requirements of management systems in a harmonized way in Galp’s management;
IV. Promote the efficiency and effectiveness of monitoring activities.

The RSIG systematizes the requirements for the management of the Environment (ISO 14001), Quality (ISO 9001), Safety (NP 4397), Prevention of Major Accidents (SEVESO Directive), Energy (ISO 50001), Social Responsibility (NP 4469-1) and Business Continuity (ISO 22301).

The deployment of RSIG in Galp is ensured through its Policies and other standard documents (company and sectorial).
